Water-Soluble Starch

Physical Properties（CAS#： 9005-84-9）

Appearance: White or off-white powder, odorless and tasteless, with 100% particle size passing through 100 mesh.

Solubility: Insoluble in cold water, needs to be heated to boiling water for dissolution, and does not freeze after cooling.

Dissolving Capacity

When added and stirred in 100ml of water at room temperature, ≥60g of the sample can be dissolved, and the viscosity is higher than that of ordinary starch.

Chemical Properties

- pH Range (5% solution, 25℃): 5.0-7.0, with strong stability, heat resistance and not easy to brown.

- The iodine sensitivity is qualified, meeting the pharmaceutical standards.

Application Characteristics

Suitable for the production of water-soluble drugs, with better stability than glucose; commonly used in the preparation of sugar-free granules, not easy to agglomerate.

Used as a thickener, emulsifier and clarifier in the food industry, for ice cream, juice, etc.
